Chapter 477: Don't speak of Itachi
December 25, 2009
Don't speak of him he will speak for himself :D No seriously I didn't expect what happened in the end of that chapter. This poses lots of questions about he next weeks issue but I'll come to them later. Now with the fight. The first page is of Danzou standing upside down - just like a tree's root with positive gravitropism.
The last chapter I thought that Danzou used the kind of usual jutsu to measure his opponent's strenght but the last chapter proves me wrong - Karin quickly provides us with a good observation over Danzou's ability:
So what can I conclude from these observations about Danzou's ability - Firstly I don't think he loses the eyes when he is injured or sth, they just tire and need to rest. Why do I think so? Because if you had a limited amount of lives (like Kakuzu's) I wouldn't have spent them so hastily at least I would have tried to dodge some of Sasuke's attacks and as we are shown Danzou took almost all of them. And also if he loses an eye he can't stock up on sharingans (like Kakuzu has done before but with hearts) because most of the people possesing such eye are dead and those who are alive stand in front of him (even one of the dead (lol) no wait he was behind him :P). It is obvious that Danzou is having fun with Sasuke (If that man can have fun at all...). The boy is using his strongest abilities while the Root's leader seems to be evading them with ease and even more he is making constant notes on Sasuke's abilities and is comparing him to his elder brother. This of course drives Sasuke crazy, since the man responsible for the sufferings of his beloved Itachi is talking about him in such a way.
We see that with evolving from snake to a hawk Sasuke's summons change to hawks too - which is quite handy since a snake wouldn't have been really useful in the air... it is mystery when did he had a contract with these birds since for a lot of time he has been in constant movement or fights so I suppose somewhere after "capturing" the hachibi, frankly I don't know. However this doesn't seem very important compared with tthe next events.
Sasuke starts putting some thought into his fighting and targets Danzou's right arm (the one with the sharingans), but this doesn't seem to work either. And then it hapens he comes back. Well I don't think he has come back but at least we see him again - like Minato, Itachi appears in the middle of the fight. But the Yondaime keeps a low profile and stays in Naruto's mind, Itachi however seems to like the main stage and comes out of a cloud of crows behind Danzou (his former chief) and Madara (his former.... eerm sth? :D associate and enemy I'd say).
His appearance poses lots of questions:
Next episode is in a week :)
And Happy Holidays to everyone :)
The last chapter I thought that Danzou used the kind of usual jutsu to measure his opponent's strenght but the last chapter proves me wrong - Karin quickly provides us with a good observation over Danzou's ability:
- He doesn't use bunshins or sth like that because she can feel him redistributing his chakras.
- Root's leader didn't use any kind of genjutsu on Sasuke (although we know he can) since Karin would've sensed that too.
- Whenever Danzou is injured seriously one of his eyes on his right arm closes itself.
- He is a formidable fuuton user.

His appearance poses lots of questions:
- How? - Easy - poke-no-justu - he had implanted not only Amaterasu with trigger action in Sasuke but some of his own chakras (exactly the same way Minato had implanted himself partly in Naruto)
- Why? - Why does Itachi appear now? Why didn't he do it when Sasuke was dying so many times before (Mizukage (God bless Zetsu), Hachibi (God bless Juugo))? I can't say exactly why, but I do have a couple of ideas each one of them contradicting with the other:
- Itachi comes out of Sasuke in order to help him when the boy has abused his eyes too much and will soon become blind. But how would Itachi know if Sasuke takes his eyes thus preventing the chance of getting sick (since he will posses the Eternal MS). Unknown...
- Itachi comes out of Sasuke to have a little chat with everyone - it is really convinient that Madara is here even Danzou. However Itachi doesn't look like he is going to start chatting around, because he has his MS on and is looking really badass(and usually when somebody looks really badass in this Manga he starts fighting(Sage Mode Naruto vs. Pain))
